That was on a normal trading day! Can you imagine what will happen when everyone runs for the door?

.... and they will, you know.

Everyone trading via phone or web should think long and hard about that. The systems are now "normalized" to handle 2 billion shares a day on both the Nasdaq and NYSE. At some point the panic BUYING or SELLING will make that 4 minutes look like it was instantaneous.

My advice would be to have at least two avenues to trade.
