I saw it too. I think she will regret the stance she took. There seems to be some sort of plan to use Florida to "make the whole thing work out right for the country" or something. I really disagree with that concept. If somebody wants to revamp the way we pick presidents, they can do it legally, the next time a president is elected.

Good Morning, Everyone has always heard the platitudes about not discussing Religion or Politics if you care for the friend or family member you are talking to. I guess that goes for polititions(sp) as well. You are not alone and this is not held just to the Democrats, as we have a Republican elected official who is going to see some very upset people in two years for his actions during all this. He has been spouting anger and hate against Gore here locally, even going so far as advocating violence, like some others around the country that have made the news lately and I won't stand for that, he will be held accountable so you will not be alone in two years. I think when all is said and done Gore should bow out gracefully this morning rather than put the Florida Legislature through that, because he knows that he will not get the White House this time around no matter how many votes he claims to have. Time and the very badly written voter laws are against him and everyone including my young son knows that. Bush doesn't even have to win another suit, he doesn't have to do anything but wait and appeal any decision from any of these law suits if they happen to go against him and he can then chew up 10 days writing his appeal, he is not obligated to fast track it like Gore has been doing so it is over like it or not! One final note, I think there will be, or at least should be a lot of heads hanging in shame from both sides of the fence when time finally runs out, and it will. 4 days and counting!!
