Hi OX, thanks for pointing out the difference between night and day on the TWS demo. I need to take this pt a bit more serious and raise the bar a bit to reality.

Focusing strictly on the ES, cuz like ya said the NQ is a bit wild.

DSL is not available for me, checking into the ISDN. Do you know if ISDN can run two computers on different ISP's. Thinking if it's possible to cancel the additional phone line for the puter, ya know kids on AOL on one puter me on the other and not on AOL?

I would say your (mkt order) fills are subject to the same slippage as for highly liquid, fast moving Naz stocks.

Probably. I stay away from ND.

Last time I traded it, it was by accident. I sent in the wrong order. Sold into a rising spike.

I ignored it, as the market ran roughly 41 points higher quickly. I guessed (One of those don't try this at home, kids.... moves) that it probably would retrace so I placed a Limit Buy to get me out for a few points and 10 or 15 minutes later I lucked out.

Completely put it out of my mind once I placed the Limit cover order, It was probably a foolish thing to do but I was caught up with three or four other trades at the time.

That may have been the 4th or 5th time I traded it. So I don't know about slippage.

By the way, if you think that was a dumb move I have worse stories. Like the time I meant to Short SP, accidentally shorted NQ by mistake then covered the NQ trade by buying ND.

Took about 10 minutes to figure out exactly what I had done. Never did get around to shorting SP that day.
