Isn't most of the "bad" earning news out there? What are the odds that a BIG BOY (EMC, SUNW, ORCL, JDSU, Nokia, etc) could warn? I don't think so.... We've already heard from Apple (boxmakers-dead), many semi companies, including Intel (SSB report, basically warned for them), Motorola, Micosoft (earnings downgrade)....I think most of the bad news in priced in...maybe we'll get some 2nd tier tech warnings, but I think we are on the downside (not upside) of big tech warnings... I'm not saying it CAN'T HAPPEN, just saying I think the market seems safer then a week ago- with this news already out...
