John, please post more often as I like to read from people who look at charts. :)

One big difference between Oct '98 and now: then the price of AMAT and the SEMI organization's orders were both near a bottom. Now orders are at a peak, while price is near a bottom. This irritates me no end and confuses the analysis. geocities.com

John - someone on the Yahoo/Klic thread presented a similar historical lesson in September. 'Cmprto' found posts on the Yahoo board from late August/early September 1999. He chose this time frame because it was precisely when the stock turned...and began a ~300% run during the next 6 months. Read these posts - it's quite entertaining...
