I do not understand why you cannot understand that these 'undervotes' include ballots with votes that the machine simply cannot read due to the way the machine operates. Some of these 'undervotes' will of course actually be no votes - and should not and cannot be counted - but it cannot be assumed that all of these 'undervotes' are no votes. Yet you and your fellow Republicans leap to disenfranchise these votes.

To raise the 'specter' of manual recount to such suspicious levels is one of the many absurdities in this whole post-election mess. Manual recounts are NOT the unusual or impossible process or task that the Republicans paint them to be in this election. That is just spin. A cop out. An excuse.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if the shoe were on the other foot, Bush would be yelling for a manual recount as loud as he could. Would you and your fellow Republicans have the same opinion of manual recounts in that circumstance? I seriously, seriously doubt it. I can hear it now...Bush crying "We do them in Texas!"
