I sold out my positions that I originally made in '96 last week. After the gtw warning, I knew it was the right thing to do. This was the oldest position I had, but I hope after 30 days, the stock goes down more so I can get back in.

Two days ago on CNBC-Europe there was the news about INYC warning, and I posted it. I was told to keep the loose talk on my side of the pond and some idiot even called me a F£$%ing short! Here we are!

I doubt at this price there will be any sellers, so your right, the stock may go back-up!

Good luck

Y

I hope you are right, but I dont think that the worst is over. In a bear market good news is ignored, and bad news is factored in multiple times.

Craig Barret should not have given the interview earlier this week. Now is credibility is damaged forever.

Amy J was right that the CEO of a large company cannot be relied upon for an accurate read of short term sales trends. But Craig had to know about order cancellations, even when he was travelling! I am sure that he was getting updates from his VP Sales via E-Mail. He obviously could not have calculated the exact shortfall since he was on the road.If he could not give new guidance he should have kept mum, instead of repeating the old guidance.
