I think that Congress ought to consider a bill that calls for matching federal grants to those states that adopt a voting system that is nationally-standardized.

Your response is pure democrat. Just leave the machinery as it is. Too much work to change it.

When LoF said "I doubt we'll see much of the Votamatic in the future" he didn't say that nobody would ever vote on this equipment again. To his point you seem to be saying "wanna bet". Even on points you would think people would agree you will challenge.

If the dems want to "enfranchise" their people, then buy them equipment that works (if you really think that is the problem here). If there needs to be a vote on this it should pass by enought to avoid a re-count.
