IF Bush had lost, he would have taken it much better than Gore since the Presidency has been a life long quest for Gore vs. a two year trek for Bush.

What I find interesting is this, anecdotal that it may be though I'd bet a lot on it:

IF Bush had lost, his supporters would have taken it much worse than Gore's people will take it...notwithstanding those who will continue to point to the lack of the hand count. Those will get over it, but I don't think Bush's people would have gotten over his loss anywhere near as quick.

Probably only proves that Bush people hate Gore more than Gore's people like Gore.
