Davey, you are overlooking two things. One, Gore is attempting to establish new, unreasonable and unfair standards in order to create votes or vote for people who elected not to vote for themselves. Secondly, Gore, like in his tax cut proposal of giving tax cuts to the "right people" wants to only count the votes of the "right people" or the ballots he can call as his since the voter didn't punch the chad out for whatever reason. And, isn't Gore a wonderful hypocrite and cheater when he wants to deprive our military of their right to vote and he wants to throw out thousands of absentee ballots for a very simple error on the application for the ballot? He is one hellofaguy.
Don't trust him on managing the assets of your elderly mother. He might steal all her assets.

States DID NOT pass laws for hand-counting where-in they intended either candidate to abe able to capture a territorial counting advantage. That's just the plain truth. And any outcome so altered by such an advantage gained, would rightly be overturned by the state legislature.
