Now why do you suppose machine recounts result in different totals each time?

Do you suppose those extra few chads found at the bottom of the machine after each recount have anything to do with it?

I guess your strategy is that if you count them enough times eventually you might get lucky and knock off enough Gore chads and call it a victory for democracy.

Nice to see you changing that spin line "Dubya signed a law preferring manual recounts over electronic recounts".

I've noticed since I brought my research here into that area, the tune of radical left wing Democrats such as yourself, has changed quite a bit regarding that spin line. Thanks for confirming my research was correct.

The rest of your cut and past post I agree with. However, when compared to manual counts, properly operating machine counts are more accurate.

What you quote here is pertinent. This election is within the margin of error. Do a statewide count 10 times, and Gore might win some of those times. So even though Bush has won despite Gore getting some of his way here, this election in Fla. amounts to a coin flip. How many times are we going to flip the coin? Just until Gore wins one toss? Is that what you want? Perhaps you do, but I say the flipping has to stop somewhere...and by law it is about to stop. COUNT on it.
