Doug. Question. Canada is likely to twin that pipeline 400 mi east,

(in the next few years) to bring south, through western Canada, the huge probable NG reserves in the McKenzie Delta.

OR...would it be politically possible to take a serious look at the (likely) more cost effective option of inking a bilateral agreement with Canada to link all the Prudhoe and McKenzie gas into one trunk line up north and run it south together?

Most of the time, there's no doubt that Nationalistic barriers would prevail. On the other hand, I've got to wonder, IF supply becomes enough of a crisis this winter to awaken people, would it be possible to rise beyond the usual barriers and "cut a deal" that would effectively address the reality of the massive and increasing NG demand already locked in for the years ahead...

Just a thought.
