If memory serves me correct, there used to be a similar "current events" test several-score years ago. I believe only white males that owned land could vote, and it was illegal in slave states to teach African-Americans to read and write. What you're proposing, of course, is an extension of that. Keep up the good work. Don't take that thinking cap off today ... you're on a nice roll! Flapjack: sometimes I think you post without any regard for how idiotic your post sounds. By responding this way you advocate that it is not a good idea for someone to be the least bit informed when they go into the voting booth. Hey the better we keep them in the dark, the easier it is to lead them down that path of dependency.
