Dear e-Bill: Cant agree with you there anymore. I have had a number of American cars and all were fine. Lately I have become a Jeep fan and only own Jeeps now. I think they are wonderful. My Grand Cherokee rides better than the Acura Legend I used to have and of course is capable of so much more, and my 2001 Wrangler Sahara is the most fun vehicle I have ever driven. Incidentally, I am 57 years old so not some college kid. JDN

I agree. The demographics of buyers of American cars are horrible. Worst of all for them, it's going to get much worse.

Outside of a few SUV's, I don't know any contemporaries that drive American makes.

American unions have been wildly successful at destroying virtually any domestic industry they monopolize.
