I've been on both ends of the line. As a Dell owner, I've had excellent experiences with their support people.

Being responsible for helping computer users in my company, I've received healthy doses of abuse. In my helper role, I responded to these abusive users by walking them, step by step, through the process of wiping out their systems. This revenge augmented my job satisfaction tremendously. Fortunately, I was never caught.
