Dear Nadine: Nope, you are wrong about the acres. Each district gets a Rep. each state gets two Senators. Gore won a handful of BIG CITIES big time (see someone elses comment about the strangeness of the vote). As to this past election, I only know the totals, havent studied why and who. I know here in Fla. our Senator lost by a very small amount and its been attributed to his involvement in the Clinton impeachment trials. JDN
