I wanted to see your "Notorious Quote of the Day" in context, so I bought a copy of Gore's book this a.m. Unfortunately, I can't find that quote on that page -- could you please check your cite? In fact, FWIW, I also scanned the chapter that discusses the Christian view of the Earth (which includes pages 242 and 243, in case you had just mis-typed the page or had a mild case of dyslexia <g>), and I don't see that quote anywhere. Indeed, contrary to your implication, the book contains a lot of discussion about how the Christian viewpoint is in accord with Gore's. JMHO. Charles Tutt (TM)
