something's got to happen or we could be in for a disaster.

what if Florida sends TWO batches of electors?

one certified by the sec/state and the governor
one certified by the SupremeCourt and the governor

what if the flsc certifies the newest recount and FORCES Jeb to certify it or be held in contempt of court???

what if the electoral college can't decide and it goes to the house of reps and they can't decide which group to acknowledge - the split house splits down the middle and the split senate 50/50 has the sitting VP cast the tie-breaking vote?

you each know of course that EVERY senator and congressmen and their respective staffs are now in the air heading for florida?

you realize this is the hottest political division that has EVER existed in the history of our country?

look at the animosity on this board - extrapolate

for maybe two hours today we had a fresh calm and then it was torn asunder.

i tend to have a pervasive positive attitude and right now i am pretty nervous - i would like to hear RR's opinion - he is legally trained - grasps the politics - is not overly partisan.

we need a solution: i heard a call for bush's concession tonight - that was a first - somebody has to care more for this country than himself - doesn't seem to be gore.

somebody please suggest a solution - an honorable result that americans will respond to by saying, yup that sounds fair to me.

maybe greg is right - maybe the presidency is not that important - unfortunately i fear we are going to find out.

wells has got it figured out - he knows more than he let on and he sure said plenty - he set the path for the US supreme court to follow - i think they have to - but they want written briefs and give written opinions and move at the speed of slug instead of the speed of light.

i predicted almost a month ago that the florida legislature would be decisive - what does the country think if the florida legislature acts unilaterally?

political animosity is about to explode

i've got to stop writing - this is beyond unreal.
(as I reread what i've written, it looks too mild.)

TypeMan, I expect impeachment will be looked into by the motivated
with judges in charge, and not politically oriented canvass board commissioners, it will be more fair
but no more legal

I once cited their law schools
Catholic U, GeoWashington, UFlorida, Howard, Miami
not top shelf
nothing from Duke, Emory, NoCarolina
state rights allows for lack of legal competence
this is what we get

I see two sets of Electors heading to WashDC
and the USHouseRep becoming a bloody battleground
then yellowdog Democrats from the South jump ship to Bush
you couldnt write a better movie script
