Let's manually recount every vote in the country. The people overseeing the recounts should be totally non-partisan, meaning they either love both candidates or despise them. Castro's offer makes more and more sense every day. If we can get Hussein, it will help, since time is of the essence.
When are you going to realize no election is perfect, and that you don't change the rules after the results? I keep forgetting, I'm dealing with those that can't see logically. If it doesn't work to produce their results, well.. it can only be another right-wing conspiracy.

American Spirit,

I really don't mean to be offensive to you.

I really wonder how is that you can see the world as you do. It perplexes me to be frank. I have my own ideas as to how it can be, but they are not relevant to my point.

The point is you can't claim to win the game if you changed the rules once it began. It really is that simple, and it surprises me that so many Democrats struggle with this basic concept.

You see, undervotes are everywhere. You gonna count them all, from coast to coast, or just where they benefit your cause. In FLA the hand recount is based on a moving standard and has the highest chance for net increase in heavy Democratic areas that had punch ballots.

To allow the count to go is a blow to Democracy. I know you don't see it, but I assure you that if it was my guy doing what yours is doing, then he would have lost my support long ago. Sound like high road dribble to you? So be it, because I know it is not. It is the kind of principle that people in my party would give up our lives to protect. Now you need to realize that this statement is not some call to arms. It just that there is a real price for democracy and freedom, and many lives have been lost in the history of our country to preserve those rights.

The Democrats have lost sight of what it is all about. Its not about power. If Gore really cared about the country he would have left long ago, but that is not what he is about. Its tragic and history will not remember him well.

HAGO

How can you say a SC action would be a blow to democracy ?
Is the USSC not part of our great democracy......???
Or is the USSC a part of this great democracy ONLY when
they make decisions to your approval ?

"Like a lawyer using a technicality to get a guilty criminal off. It's called cheating, though sometimes it's legal"

You have a very strange notion of cheating. dictionary.com says cheating is defined as "to violate rules deliberately, as in a game: accused of cheating at cards." The rules of this "game," the election, were set far in advance in Florida election law and the US Constitution. The only cheaters I have seen are individuals such as yourself, who wish to disregard the rules altogether in order to sort and recount votes endlessly until they get the result they desire.
