As I said, I see the BS unfairness Gore has tried to twist this system into- something never intended either constitutionally or legislatively. We should all be against the sort of unfairness he's sought.

Sorry, but your argument is trumped in a major way by the reality of what Gore's sought for himself. I just can't erase the fact of what he's actually done. Bush, meanwhile, rightly refused to engage in seeking offsetting territorial advantages(a disgustingly unamerican proposition), and so rises above.

The Texas law for manual recounts is so far superior to Florida's law that I can't believe people keep bringing it up. Given the chance, Bush would have jumped at the opportunity to use the Texas law for the Florida recounts.
