First a traded when I worked at the merc, then I had a managed account when I was still being an engineer, then I had funds, then started doing it myself again taking more money from the funds, then I moved totally to discount brokers, then online, now I'm going full circle and adding money back to funds. Strategies have always been tailored to the market and depending on the amount of time I want to apply to the market. Now I'm setting up for when I'm in my late to mid 50's and I want to wind down the day to day. I have read many books about the market I continue to read allot. SI is not the place to learn about the market. Too fragmented to do that. SI for me is a water cooler.
