So all thats going on at this moment may not be truly legal. Disregarding the USSP ruling, they continue to fiddle with those laws, like now calling a hand count mandatory and continue to change the dates for completion , nov 14, nov 26, Dec 6 etc. But to give an appearance of honesty and fairness, they have properly expanded the recount Statewide( or at least to 57 counties)and given the various Canvassing boards authority to count in their own way. We are about to divine the "intent of the voter". OK, lets apply that to all of the absentee ballots and say that its beyond question the application for an absentee ballot represents an intent of the person to vote. And any properly filled out ballot recieved by Nov 14 th should be counted regardless of technicalities, noting that technicalities (such as counting dimples rather than holes) do not prevent dimpled punch cards from being counted as votes. (Rep are working on that item with court action to get the absentees counted) Bush will become President, and all the action today revolves around counting pimples until Gore comes out just one vote ( they hope for more) ahead of Bush which will prove to the world that it was the Republicans who stole the election. H$$l, if you can't win honestly, make it look like the other guy cheated. If Gore somehow wins, he will have won by just ONE vote- the vote of one Democratic Justice of the FSP who made the decision 4/3 supporting the manual recount. So I ask, who will then be the thief?
