Morning Tom, I consider that to be the best post I've seen so far on the relationship between the IW and Cash Reserves. I have filed it away for future reference. Thanks Tom and Keith for the explanation of cash reserves. I think I now understand how I am to use the cash reserve percentage and the Idiot Wave with AIM. I also believe I understand what to do in Newport, but when I have some time I will work with the program on some test examples to see if I really do understand how different starting cash reserves & price actions effect what Newport tells me. If I still can't figure it out, I may be back with more questions . Until, then, I really do appreciate the time you have taken to help get this through my thick skull. Larry M
