Morning Tom, I consider that to be the best post I've seen so far on the relationship between the IW and Cash Reserves. I have filed it away for future reference.

As you know I have struggled with this relationship from day one. So for Larry's benefit here is another post relating to the subject in the same file folder.

Thanks Tom and Keith for the explanation of cash reserves. I think I now understand how I am to use the cash reserve percentage and the Idiot Wave with AIM. I also believe I understand what to do in Newport, but when I have some time I will work with the program on some test examples to see if I really do understand how different starting cash reserves & price actions effect what Newport tells me. If I still can't figure it out, I may be back with more questions . Until, then, I really do appreciate the time you have taken to help get this through my thick skull.
