Well, the Supreme court has said, "Stop counting!" I think it was a 5-4.

I guess they know what their ruling will be, and stopping the count now won't look as bad as throwing it out if it shows Gore won.

Bad move. If Bush won with a proper count, at least he'd have a claim to some legitimacy. The casts a serious cloud over the entire process.

Unfortunately, the winners write the history books.
