If there had been a statewide recount that was objective and not subjective and Gore had won I most certainly would have accepted it.

But after reading article after article about the way this was mechanized by the Gore team (recount teams on the ground in Florida the day after the election) and the fact that Gore only went for Democratic counties where the standards were so loose that people were guessing how someone intended to vote, I will never accept this recount.

Gore already lost the first 6 games played. But, like a little kid, he wants to play over and over again until he can get a score that shows him winning. Terrible precedent for America. The Florida supreme court is now in very low repute. Lawyers have taken over with negative spin. Attempts to "steal" an election with no respect for their country. Most niggardly of all is the insincere spewing of "we want every vote to count" Gore and his henchmen were creating a strategy to "steal" and disenfranchise the votes of our military men and women. Then, while not becoming a part of the suit, but with great support they attempted to "steal" the votes of 25000 people for a hyper-technical error on the APPLICATION for an absentee ballot. Gore applies his standard of "wanting every vote to count" just as he applies his standard he wants to give tax cuts to "the right people." The man is crazy. Hitler was crazy.
