Every voter should have to register every year and have proof of citizenship, fingerprints, and residence, recorded in an automated system. This would keep the dead in the grave, God rest their souls. It would also ensure that college students couldn't vote multiple times. The motor voter law allows non-citizens to register to vote, usurping the rights of actual US citizens. The system needs to be cleansed. Maybe that is what the politicians will do. This isn't a hard thing to do. If we can get instant record checks for gun purchases, there is no reason the same type system can't be used to verify citizens prior to voting.knc
