TLC, I might believe that the U.S. do really need a "strong hand". Both of the "democratically" elected candidates will presumably nowhere in the world be treated with the respect a states(wo)man usually is being awarded. None of those jerks will be able to accomplish the difficult missions of the beginning 3rd millenium including managing the difficult "external affairs". The Europeans attribute GWB even less capacity in finding solutions for global problems. Time to close the thread and open a new one: "A new order for the U.S.A". It would be better to remove the current system and put a sort of "expert comittee" in place. At least it would save millions of dollars in election fights and mindless recounts...
