I saw that as well...and hope it is true...otherwise we would be opening another whole can of worms.

It won't matter if they burn them or send them in a rocket

ship to the sun. In any case, the democrats will say, oh, along about April, that the exact count is blah blah blah and Gore was the rightful winner of the Florida vote by xxxxx exact number of votes. And if they have to hold their ACLU membership cards up to the light to divine the intent of the voters, they will. But rest assured, they will have an EXACT count for ya. It is their sworn duty.

I believe Florida has a Sunshine law that may not exclude ballots, but not sure. I find it humorous, however, that you would want to burn the evidence. Is the evidence normally destroyed after legal matters are decided?

I saw a Congressman from Missouri on TV today
who said that ballots are not subject to FOI requests and that they would be sealed
and burned after the election.

don't know about Missouri, but in Washington, ballots are public records and subject to the public records act.

<<I saw a Congressman from Missouri on TV today who said that ballots are not subject to FOI requests and that they would be sealed and burned after the election.>>

They are public information in the state of FL. Very little is exempt from FOIA requests(national security, certain privacy stuff), but ballots aren't.

I know you never want them counted, but they will be.
