Lino, Just prior to the last referendum in Quebec, certain Liberal MP's-not Bloc MP's, actually approached senior Canadian military officers from Quebec and asked them to begin moving equipment to Quebec and to be prepared to defend Quebec borders. Thankfully, these officers declined. This treason by some Federal Liberal MP's from Quebec was well documented but no charges were laid and no action taken. As an aside, the few French military officers that I have met have told me straight out that they will never retire in Quebec. The reason is that they felt there was no opportunity in a fascist state with Napoleonic law, where bigotry and hatred is mainstream in Quebec society. Ottawa and Ontario Liberal bigots have the same elitist outlook towards the east coast and Western Canada. It is obvious that Ottawa would do nothing in the face of a western referendum on separation after the Clarity Bill is passed. Western Canadians would be free to get at the business of building a new and prosperous country, free from the chains of eastern political and economic bondage. The sooner we get those eastern freeloaders off our backs, the better.
