I'm smart enough to know the good times don't last forever and for the most part don't depend on the President alone. If the Dems would have put up a decent candidate maybe we wouldn't have this problem right now. I don't think Bush had much choice but to distance himself from the election for the last month, do you? Jim

Scumbria you might find this hard to believe but people can disagree with you on this and other issues without being either stupid or brainwashed. I think Clinton did little to cause the economic growth over the last 8 years. I know you disagree but but I won't try to say you are brainwashed. I do have to give Clinton credit for not messing up a great economy. (although part of this has to do with Congress voting down such things as his health care plans). GW shows no sign of being a genius, but the man is not an idiot. Tim
