TLC, have you heard some of your friends say - The Winner is the Loser. I have heard many people tell me that. Nobody on this thread but my everyday acquaintances who seem to know that this election has divided the country and its leaders right down the middle. Neither of these candidates can now unite the country. We must wait for a totally different leader in 2004. In the meanwhile, I look for four years of bitterness, rancor and hostility. We have very low expectations for Bush so he will probably live up to those low expectations. We are really one nation
more than a nation of fifty states. That is why the electoral college must go. Fifty states, acting independently, are not going to solve the national problems.
The Democrats in the Senate and House have no reason to fear
Bush. Without any mandate, he will become the target of guerilla warfare and political snipers. We need national solutions to the problems of education and protecting the environment. The states are not up to solving those problems by themselves. We need a strong national leader. Unfortunately, we don't have one.

He is just doing more of the hate speech.

Now, I am a bigoted moron.

Bet he does not know my fiance is from Asia. Or my last relationship was with a Jamaican/British girl...

I do think I am a moron at times. So does she...
