Frank, I have nothing to say against Katherine Harris' breeding, makeup or personal habits.

I do say that she had an obvious conflict of interest and should have recused herself. Her conduct, while it may be finally adjudicated to be within the letter of the law (the FSC, the normal authority, did not find it so), happened to be advantageous for the Bush side every step of the way.

I think an appearance of fair play is important in a close election and was definitely lacking here.

Katherine is a lady and of good breeding. She was very careful to follow the letter of the law

LOL> Katherine Harris is not a race horse or a show dog. Does her "breeding" make her right?

Does following the "letter" of the law make her right? Does it make Sanders Sauls right? Guess not. He's has had 179 cases reversed on appeal during his career.
