Nadine, if you carried that forward because of an officials support or party alignment then the Florida supreme court, the attorney general would also have to recuse themselves. Jeb Bush did so because of his relationship to GWB. However, Katherine Harris simply followed the law as written and there was no reason for her to recuse herself. To have handled her job any differently would have been arbitrary and in conflict with carrying out her duties as specified by law. She did good!
