Here's the most telling part of Walter Williams article. Read below: "Irreconcilability faces us today. There's one group of Americans who does not wish to bother anyone but wishes to be left alone. This Walter Williams article is great in that it leads us to a place where most of us would like to get. Using that same map Have all liberals move into these blue zones, and all conservatives move out. Then the blue zones can conduct their business of socialism, but not effect the rest of us one iota. This is the solution which needs to be looked at instead of getting rid of the electoral college. In fact it is the opposite of the Electoral college scam Hillary wants to pull. She wants the gathered huddled elite to rule over everything. Lets give the elitists these city states within our borders and let her and her friends tax and spend themselves to the extent of their masochistic tendencies. If you want to live in a socialist enclave, here are your choices 1 2 3 4. But Your rules dont apply to us, we live in these zones free of all your input. What a deal.

Flap, did I see Lawdog thank you for Williams piece... did he read this part ? "By no means do Americans who voted for Bush enthusiastically and unequivocally support the values expressed in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution, but they are not nearly as parasitic, interventionist and contemptuous of the principles of liberty as Gore supporters." The first part of that Williams could probably expound on and clarify, but the second part hits it on the nail.
