Sorry for misquoting the word "rumors", which is in fact not in the ML note.

My comment on the website's spin stands, however. The clear intent of the blurb on the website was to hide from the reader ML's dismissal of the "concerns", and in fact to heighten them by saying that someone "familiar" with something had directly told AmercanInvest about a pending SUNW warning which of course never happened.

ML reported concerns which it took pains to point out were false. This blurb used selected portions of that report to make its readers think the concerns were true, even adding unattributed disinformation to do so. You don't see what difference that makes?

The way they wrote it, it sounds like Merrill might share the "concerns," which is not how I understand the facts.
