Don't be ridiculous, Re: "you can hardly blame the candidate who is behind for doing what he can to ensure that a fair and accurate vote count has taken place"

Haven't you understood by now that counting only Democratic counties, as YOUR candidate still fights for, even before the FSC- which itself attempted to reject the notion by demanding all the counties be counted- simply has nothing to do with a fair and accurate vote count? Don't you understand that this fact is undeniable and explains why Republicans are so mad?

It's truly ...welll...what word do I pick and still be kind? ...to claim I should not blame Gore for seeking what he seeks, 'cuase plainly, it ain't a fair and accurate count, despite his words which fly in the face of the realities with these counties.

I hope they toss those machines too...though after this you can bet the un-removed chads will drop to about zero if they still use the things....hey, it's a theory. You know, education happens. The counting machines ARE near perfect if the chads are removed, after all.

Maybe I'd like to see a few in use next time to test my theory.

I'd also like to point out that much of the heavily Democratic counties using these machines have already been hand-counted at this point. Broward helped Gore. Palm Beach helped Gore. Miami helped Gore because they never got to the Republican precincts, but the FSC put the incomplete numbers from that into the count the other day...never intending to count the Republican precincts the same way...though counting all the 9000 undervotes from the whole county would account for most of the discrepancy...'cept the overvotes with name written on. GEEZ...even the FSC didn't get it right YET! Of course, reports from Dade confirm Bush will gain if counted further, not Gore. Then you have Duval county...where population wise, the republicans probably have a slight edge in undervotes because the black precincts have such low populations.
