CAN SCOFLA COUNT?: SCOFLA just 'handed' Gore 215 votes from Palm Beach County's aborted recount on Friday. They got that number from Gore lawyers who put it in the record in Judge Sauls' contest trial. Guess what? According to the Miami Herald, the final tally was actually 174 extra Gore votes. Never mind. What's 39 votes between friends? And if you're taking dictation from Gore lawyers rather than interpreting the law strictly, these mistakes happen. Remember the Illinois precedent for dimpled chads? Wrong again. But SCOFLA never double-checked. Maybe they should simply be remanded for incompetence. (12/10, 8PM)

i grew up in Ohio, too.
so i understand that "straight and narrow" thing.

but don't sell Boies short on being able to point out
to the court that it's all about Florida Law.
