LOL! Nice partisan rant!! Unfortunately, the law does support Bush's position and the brief and hearing today will decide if the Court accepts Gore's arguments or Bush's as it was intended to be. I see no politics in Scalia's decision, only the articulation of the standard which governs the granting of a stay. I don't think anyone can predict the outcome of today's argument and hearing with certainty. You will note there are Republican appointees on both sides of the decision. Chill out dude. This is the best way to resolve the matter. I think this is better in the long run for the country than having the FL legislature step in although that step (a continuing resolution) would also be legal.

Truth is, the best ultimate reason not to go forward with FSC mandated counting is that it remained an unfair, thus useless, method of counting.
