Couple of problems with that solution - I think it would be the US Supreme Court rewriting Florida law; and even more importantly, it's impossible to get done in time for Florida's Electors to vote on 12/18, so the election goes to Gore by default. It would have been a good thing to do a month ago, but it won't work now.

Tomorrow is the deadline for the Electors to be certified. That's the worst problem.
