how often did you hear any of them say that IBM and HWP were releasing products that would give them competition up and down their product lines. Only now are they saying IBM had a blip down in sympathy to SUNW concerns.

Brian, I agree about Sun. They, and Oracle, like to think they walk on water. No ECC on the cache, as you allude to, was a big wake-up call about Sun, at least in the technical community.

OT* CNBC never ceases to amaze me. When amat reaches 60 they'll be suggesting that maybe it's now time to get back into the beaten down semi cap equip stocks.<G> Of course it was a sell at 40 and previously a buy at 90.
