NG,

First thing we need is for the markets to get done worrying about the election.
Then get done factoring at least 3 recessions.
Then we need AG to ease or restate easing bias.
Then we need a 1.5 Gig Palomino...
It would help if all this happens before Intel gets their RAMBUS boondoggle worked out and the P4 gets to 1.7 Ghz and beyond.

Tomorrow would be good.

Jim

"I didn't say all was positive...What I did say is that at $17 every imaginable negative has been factored in from a technical perspective...Any company that can make $0.50 or better in a negative environment looks mighty good to me at $17...I'd be worried about your INTC baby though, who at $34 will be lucky to come in at half of AMD's Q4 eps, even including capital gains!!! "

Keep on those rose colored glasses. I own both INTC and AMD, I just have a realistic approach to the marketplace unlike you. Rapid erosion of ASP's at AMD and serious price protection just to maintain unit marketshare in this quarter. I called this last quarter when AMD was stuffing the channel. And what about that "negative environment". I thought you insisted that was INTC specific and didn't exist. I agree with your assertion that at 17 AMD is undervalued....the rest of your pontifications are pure fantasy.
