This post shows that you are clueless. Had the US invaded
IRAQ the coalition would have fallen apart. How many more lives are you willing to sacrifice? An invasion of Iraq would have come with a great loss of life. Meanwhile Dick Gephardt and most of the Dems opposed ANY action in Iraq.
Clinton has had 8 years to get rid of him. Why has he done nothing?

it might be more appropriate to say Saddam is in office. i don't see much power coming from his reign in the past 8-10 years. in so far as taking him out..i guess it was a trade off issue of how many U.S. soldiers we wanted to die in order to overtake the Iraqi capital.. Saddam doesn't seem to be bothering Kuwait lately..
