ICN,

Minus 8 this morning without adding in the wind chill factor. Fortunately the tears coming out my eyes froze before hitting my cheeks. I do not think NG and Oil are going to trade hand in hand anymore. NG is trading on a supply vs. demand curve. Demand is high and supply is constant so price goes up. Problem is I do not know what the price is going to settle at, 6, 8 10 12 etc... I do not see these stocks as traders. CHK has fixed costs around $2.50/mcf of gas. You can see that anything over that is pure profit. Of course it seems like most people are treating these companies like utilities so the PEs are going to be low. Enjoy the cold weather.

Scott, NG situation in a nutshell:
More demand than supply...worldwide and here is U.S.
Demand is expected to outpace supply for the next several years. Increase in rigging activity won't effect supply channel for another two years.

NG futures have increased over 100% in one month!!! Today NG futures gave back about 10% due to warmer weather forecasts for the immediate future. While the price of NG has gone up, individual stocks have not moved in-kind. Expect that we'll see a strong move on stocks as their earning's reports come due.

For the immediate future, it looks like NG futures are going to take a break before resuming their rally. It's a good opportunity to find some good NG stocks and put them under your pillow. I own OEI and some calls on EPG.

GMGC has been getting some attention because of the strengh in voice recognition stocks. Voice recognition will be an integral part of the 3G wireless products that will be coming to market in the next two years.

GUMM's deal with P & G was announced, but it was a very small deal.
