John,

A little humor. A new word for Webster's.

AlGoreithm (n: al-gor-ith-m): Any method of calculation performed repeatedly until a desired result is produced.

RE:"There is this strange reasonableness coming over the far right wing. You, and Jim, have actually made some nonpartisan comments within the last 24 hours. Even Joe, he just stopped posting."

I'm far from the right wing. I agree with Gore on a lot of things but I don't particularly like the guy. I can see right through the guy.

RE:"Did Rush come out of of the closet or do you guys smell victory? It makes me nervous when the far right gets reasonable."

I didn't know Rush was in the closet.
It may be fun for a while but in my case I'm just burned out on it all...I have my limits.

Jim

Re: "It makes me nervous when the far right gets reasonable"

We all will have to live with a deeply divided country and bitterness regardless of the final outcome. A lot of things have been said in the heat of the moment. There is no perfect solution and there will be no winner. Either man in the White House will be the loser to half the country. Hopefully time will heal all wounds.

John,

The Florida Legislature was concerned about "disenfranchising Florida voters".

The obvious way to represent all voters was to split the electors, but that would have made Bush lost. So instead, they chose to disenfranchise half the voters and accomplish their real agenda- to put a Republican in the White House.

The GOP has shown it's true colors, violating almost every principle they have ever claimed to support in this election.
