Barry, This was not a political decision by any means. I think Justice Stevens remarks were rather clear. "Although we may never know with complete certainty the identity of the winner of this year's presidential election, the identity of the loser is perfectly clear. It is the nation's confidence in the judge as an impartial guardian of the law." How strong a statement does he have to make? 7 of 9 USSC Justices felt the FLSC recount order was unconstitutional. No. Seven seven said there were issues. It's too bad you won't see it that way but I certainly think that there are millions in this country who can. It wasn't that hard. Perhaps it was - for you. Read Justice Stevens remark again, and ponder. He is trying to tell you something (in no uncertain terms) that you don't want to hear. Scumbria
