I guess I just don't understand, you're going to get rid of cheaper faster DSL service to go with an unproven much slower more expensive service? All that Metricom has in it's favor is it's portability. Very very few will do what you do, drop their speedy relatively reliable DSL or cable modem for 128k service. They may add this service, but not get rid of old. It's just too slow, unproven, and even if the rollout was complete(massive dilution) much of the country won't be covered so travelling sales folk won't sign up big.
It almost seems like they would have been better off rolling it out in some smaller market that don't have DSL/cable modem where the service would be the fastest, but I guess these areas just don't pay out. Well if they don't pay now, they'll pay even less when the real wireless folks get their system up and running nationwide in a year or two and everyone leaves MCOM, and that's best case. Worst case is Auric's, burn the cash, go out of biz or do evil financing to stay afloat.

Can't wait for tommorrow fish conference where you can ask anything except about financials or subsciber numbers or lack thereof. What's left to talk about, lol.
