Jumper, Funny you should bring up Iraq. I had dinner with a retired pipeline/petroleum engineer that was working in Iraq. His firsthand knowledge of the situation was quite enlightening. it seems the USA was indeed in league with the Kuwaitis in helping them steal the Iraqis' oil. He liked the Iraqi people, but Saddam is definitely a nightmare. US Policy in the mid-East is devined by examining turds as they swirl in a toilet. Hopefully Bush will do better than his Dad or Clinton, but don't count on it.
