I have voted absentee and corrected hanging chads on my wife's ballot. Petz, I am afraid that you have misunderstood my point. How would you know how many hanging chads (if that were the standard) were in the undervote, unless someone examined them? I have no opinion on the dented ballots, although the law in some states seems to allow the examination of such ballots. Also, in your clinical reasoning, which I read to mean that voters have a responsibility as well, please consider the physically impaired, non English speaking, old, etc...These voters deserve equal protection.
