If these companies are not making huge amounts of money in two years I am wrong. It's a gamble that has paid off for six years running. ORCL is a rummy company, period. The market is going to take them out behind the woodshed and chop them up Friday. I picked up a few crash poots on 'em for December for dirt cheap. Same as buying lottery tix IMO. There's more lying and disinformation coming out of ORCL than any other company trading. Look at it this way, if every other Internet player is growing revenue by 50-60% YoY (CSCO, SUNW, etc), why is ORCL only growing revs at less than 15% YoY? It's a simple answer, they're not all they are cracked up to be or the revenues would be higher, there's no other explanation. Also, their accounting is based on gimmicks. Watch the value of their investment portfolio, which has accounted for all profit growth. It's gone with the Naz wreck, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they lower going forward because they can't repeat these investment gains. Even if I'm wrong, I fully expect them to go down no matter what. When insiders dump a truckload of stock in October at an average of $35, then don't sell any in November, well, it just smells like something is up. As for your conviction on the buildout, haven't you been watching anything in the bond market? Money isn't flowing like even a few months ago, and how else is all crap going to get built? I agree with that it will happen, but feel the growth is going to slow and there will be a weeding out process before things get rolling again, maybe a few years depending on how bad the recession is. And yes, there will be a recession. This ain't 1998. It's more like 1989 Japan or 1929 US.
