Has anybody heard of any major tech company having a buy back plan since we have drop below 3000? I have not except for CPQ? (I think).... This and a rate cut will be my sign that a bottom has been set.
I know some of the companies are restricted because of m&a activity but I would like to see "them" put their money were their mouths are

I doubt it. They need to cash to survive and coming up debts to be paid. Check out Worldcom's debts coming up in 2/2001. Only Apple's balance sheet is strong with cash but they need that for development cycle where little revenue coming through. Don't let that cash per share fool you.
